Whether you are new to yoga or have been practicing for years, with over 4,500 hours of teaching experience, Amanda will challenge you to find your edge, lovingly assist and adjust your alignment, and encourage your breath-body connection.
Amanda has been teaching since 2009. Her education includes four teacher training courses and numerous continuing education courses, studying Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Kundalini, Restorative and Prenatal. She holds the Yoga Alliance titles Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500), Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher and Continuing Education Provider, and writes articles as a Thought Leader for YogaAlliance.org.
Although a variety of styles are a part of her teaching repertoire, all classes are connected by the same threads – postures taught with anatomical integrity, breath as the source of movement, and mindful observation to cultivate awareness and presence in mind, body and spirit. Studio classes often end with symphonic gong meditations, played in the style of the Kundalini yoga tradition, and online classes end with a brief Yoga Nidra guided relaxation.
Grateful for the bounty of gifts given to her by this practice, Amanda humbly continues to walk her yogic path filled with awe. She offers teacher training and CE courses through Spira Yoga School (RYS), as well as classes and workshops, both in person and virtually.
